William Mahlatsi Sebelebele’s ideal niche consists of individuals transitioning from junior staff roles to supervisory, management, or executive positions, as well as those moving from employee roles to entrepreneurship, and from small businesses to larger enterprises.
Having personally experienced the challenges of transitioning from a junior staff member to an executive, he knows first hand how difficult the journey can be. It was through his own experiences that he came to understand the importance of coaching. His passion for the field deepened when he began his formal coaching course with the University of Cape Town.
William’s approach to coaching is designed for anyone in a management or leadership role who is seeking personal or professional transformation. His own journey is a testament to this, beginning in March 2009 when he was appointed as a clerk in a claims department. From there, he transitioned to the financial risk department as an administrator, and later took on a junior group scheme specialist role. In this position, he oversaw a company called Top Top Business Consultants, where he also acted as CEO after its acquisition by Assupol. During this period, William played a key role in integrating the acquired company into Assupol. He was then part of the team that successfully applied for a Micro Insurance license, which led to the establishment of a third-party cell captive micro-insurer called Incub8 under Assupol, where he became the Sales Executive.
William is dedicated to helping individuals transition from representative roles to becoming business owners. He guides them through the process of passing their regulatory exams (RE5 and RE1), obtaining their FSP licenses, and eventually becoming brokerage owners. He has also assisted companies in growing from brokerages to administrators, cell-captive holders, and third-party cell captive micro-insurers. He believes he is the right coach to assist these individuals and businesses in unlocking and realizing their full potential.
For William, coaching is the most meaningful way to make an impact. His background and experience bring immense value to the coaching profession and to society, especially in a world that increasingly demands ethical, professional coaches with the right skills, knowledge, training, and a commitment to continuous personal development.
